I started performing magic in the late ’90s when I was just 14. Back then, it was magic at Ottawa birthday parties, local fundraisers, and community events—anywhere someone would hand me a mic and a small crowd. I didn’t care about the size of the audience. I just loved performing. There was something about connecting with people, making them laugh, surprising them, and giving them a moment they didn’t see coming. I had no idea it would turn into a full-time career—but I knew I never wanted to stop.
Over the years, the shows got bigger. What began as a passion slowly became a business, and today I perform over 250 shows a year across North America for major corporations, theaters, and high-end events. I’ve been lucky to work with companies like Google, Amazon, and Pepsi, and to perform on some incredible stages. It’s taken years of hustle, constant reinvention, and a deep respect for the craft. But I’m just as hooked now as I was when I was 14 and packing my magic kit into a duffel bag before a school show.
And even with all the growth, I still make time for private events when I can—because that’s where it all began, as an Ottawa Magician. There’s something special about a living room show or a close-up performance at a family celebration. It reminds me why I started: not for the lights or the logos, but for the connection. The wonder. The moment. That feeling hasn’t changed. If anything, it’s stronger than ever.
